Testimonials

When I am looking for a simple service project to do with a group of high school or college students, I’m always grateful knowing that NDS will make sure our snack bags get into the hands of children who need an encouraging word along with a bit of after-school protein.  It helps us raise awareness about kids in need so close to home.  And the NDS pickup policy is a life-saver!  Thanks for helping us to help you feed the hungry!

The Saint Monica Eldercare Program serves frail homebound individuals in South Philadelphia.  Many are of limited financial means.  Our program provides care partners to the homebound; the care partners can do laundry and linen changes, shopping and errands.  Nutritional Development Services provides supermarket gift cards to the Eldercare Program, which allows care partners to purchase items that our elderly individuals would not otherwise be able to afford.  We have purchased fresh produce, nutritional supplements, and on special occasions, a special treat or two from the bakery.  The continued support that NDS provides helps us to continue to enhance the quality of life of those whom we serve.  We are grateful for this support.
